Right of withdrawal

These provisions apply exclusively to consumers who have entered into a distance contract through the Cœur de Collection website. They do not apply to purchases made for professional purposes.

Withdrawal period

For products covered by the right of withdrawal, you have a period of fourteen days in which to exercise this right, without having to provide a reason for your decision.

This period expires fourteen days after the day on which you, or a third party other than the carrier and designated by you, take physical possession of the goods.

Where a single order includes several goods delivered separately, or goods consisting of several lots or pieces delivered at different times, the period begins upon receipt of the final item, lot or piece.

The day on which the goods are received is not included in this period. Where the period expires on a Saturday, Sunday, public holiday or non-working day, it shall be extended until the next working day.

How can you exercise your right of withdrawal?

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision before the fourteen-day period expires by means of a clear and unambiguous statement.

You may use the standard withdrawal form provided at the bottom of this page, but its use is not compulsory.

To comply with the withdrawal period, you need only send your statement before the fourteen-day period expires.

When you use the online withdrawal function, an acknowledgement of receipt stating, in particular, the content, date and time of your request shall be sent to you as soon as possible on a durable medium, such as by email.

Simply returning the product without first making a clear statement expressing your wish to withdraw is not sufficient to exercise your right.

Returning products

After informing us of your decision to withdraw, you must return the product without undue delay and no later than fourteen days after sending your withdrawal request, unless we offer to collect the product ourselves.

Due to their dimensions, weight, fragility and the precautions required when handling them, our display cases cannot normally be returned by post. They must be returned using transport suitable for furniture and fragile items.

You may:

• arrange the return yourself through a specialist carrier;
• ask us to arrange collection through our craftsperson or a specialist carrier.

The exact return address and practical collection arrangements shall be provided to you in writing after we receive your withdrawal request.

This provision applies only to returns made following a change of mind under the right of withdrawal. It does not apply where a return is due to a lack of conformity, damage identified upon delivery or an error attributable to Cœur de Collection.

Estimated return costs

Where collection is arranged by Cœur de Collection, the direct return costs are estimated at the maximum amounts shown below, according to the road distance between the manufacturer’s workshop and the address to which the display case was delivered.

The estimate corresponding to your delivery address shall be provided to you before your order is confirmed.

Where you ask us to arrange collection, the cost shall be confirmed before any service is carried out. These costs shall be invoiced separately or may, with your express consent, be deducted from the amount refunded to you.

Where you arrange the return yourself, you shall select and pay the specialist carrier directly. The actual cost may therefore differ from the estimates shown above and shall remain payable by you.

The product must be made accessible to the carrier under conditions that allow it to be handled and transported safely.

Condition of the returned product

You may handle the product only to the extent necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and proper functioning.

However, you may be held liable for any reduction in value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to examine the product.

The product must be returned with all of its components, accessories, equipment and documents.

The absence of the original packaging does not, in itself, remove the right of withdrawal. However, the product must be suitably protected to prevent any damage during handling and transport.

Refund

Where the right of withdrawal has been validly exercised, we shall refund all sums paid in connection with the order, including the original delivery costs.

As the original delivery is included in the sale price of our display cases and is not invoiced separately, no amount corresponding to this original delivery shall be deducted from the refund.

The refund shall be made without undue delay and no later than fourteen days after the date on which we are informed of your decision to withdraw.

For contracts for the sale of goods, however, we may withhold the refund until we have recovered the product or until you have provided evidence that it has been returned, whichever occurs first.

The refund shall be made using the same payment method as that used for the order, unless you expressly agree to another payment method. You shall not incur any fees as a result of the refund.

The direct return costs payable by you shall be dealt with separately or may, with your express consent, be deducted from the refund where we arrange collection.

Customised or made-to-measure products

The right of withdrawal may not be exercised in relation to goods made to the consumer’s specifications or which are clearly personalised.

This exclusion may apply, in particular, to a display case made:

• to specific dimensions expressly requested by the Customer which are not among the dimensions offered in the catalogue;
• with a configuration created specifically for the Customer;
• with fittings, finishes or characteristics which are not included in our standard range;
• to any other individual specification which makes the product clearly personalised.

Where this exclusion applies, it shall be clearly stated on the product page, quotation or order summary before the order is confirmed and paid for.

The fact that a standard model is manufactured to order is not, in itself, sufficient to remove the right of withdrawal.

Choosing the height of the acrylic display cover from among the dimensions available in our standard range therefore does not deprive the consumer of their right of withdrawal.
